Raising children is not easy.
I should know - my wife and I are the proud parents of three children, ages 1, 2 and 3. Every day I come home, I ask the same question of my nanny - how did they sleep, how did they eat, and what did you do today. When I first thought about creating an app, I looked out there in the market and saw nothing that allowed you to track all of the issues that my children face not only as infants but one that I can use throughout pre-school and even elementary school. I wanted to app that not only fit today's needs, but would fit tomorrows.
So after months of hard work, interviews with caregivers, and information from being battle tested these past three years as a father - I give you the Parent Teacher App (pta).
You'll notice that the Parent Teacher App (pta) is free. I wanted to make the website version and all smartphone versions free in order to drop barriers for folks to use it. I do plan to keep it that way, though in time may eventually add some in-app purchases that you might be able to add at a later date.
To Parents - we trust the care of our precious children to teachers and nannies. On average, those caregivers will spend more time with them then we do as parents. I hope you find the app useful in helping to stay better connected to your children and their caregivers.
To Teachers and Nannies - you all have such incredibly important jobs - caring form and ultimately molding our future with the children in your care. I hope you find this app useful in helping to provide important information about those children to their parents and use the app to strengthen the important bond of parent and teachers.
